Self Managed
More control. More choice. More flexibility.
Self Managed is ideal if you want to choose and help organise your own care workers and service providers while still having the support and security of a registered aged care provider.
How the costs work:
10% Care Management – 10% of your quarterly Support at Home budget is allocated to care management.
Up to 10% service overhead – when you choose an approved third-party provider or worker, an overhead of up to 10% of their actual service cost may apply.
No setup fees
No daily fees
No exit fees
This means more of your funding stays available for the services you choose.
Fully Coordinated
We take care of the organising, so you don't have to.
If you would prefer more hands-on support, our Fully Coordinated option gives you additional assistance to organise and manage your care.
We can help with:
Finding and organising suitable care workers and providers
Coordinating your services and appointments
Managing bookings and ongoing care arrangements
Monitoring your care and changing services when your needs change
Helping you understand and make the most of your available funding
Your service prices and any applicable coordination costs are clearly explained and agreed with you before services are provided, so you know exactly what your care will cost.

TRANSPARENT PRICING
Self Managed and Self Managed PLUS are both charged under a transparent fixed fee structure – currently 15% for Self Managed and 26% for Self Managed PLUS – with no setup fees, no daily fees, or exit fees.
This means more of your aged care Home Care Budget is available for the care and services that matter most, not provider fees.
What is a
Home Care Package?
The Home Care Package program was established by the Australian Government to support aged care services that help older Australians live independently in their own homes.
The program is designed to provide flexible, tailored support according to a person’s health care needs. Funding is allocated after a formal assessment and can include services to help a person stay:

WELL AND INDEPENDENT
With personal care, nursing, and allied health support

COMFORTABLE AT HOME
With cleaning, gardening, home maintenance and nutritional support

CONNECTED TO YOUR COMMUNITY
With transport and social support services
Eligibility is assessed by the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT). If approved, you are allocated funding according to your care needs, helping you continue living at home.

The Home Care Package (HCP) Program provides coordinated care and services to older Australians who have been assessed as having age-related care needs.

TrueCourse Supports you to live well at home for longer, by helping you self-manage the Home Care Package you want and need.
We offer personalised support to design your tailored care plan and partner with you to maximise your Home Care Package budget. All TrueCourse Supports recipients have a dedicated care partner, access to our team of clinical nurses, and the backing of our finance and compliance teams to support you to manage your Home Care Package and help you live life your way, at home.
WHAT IS
SELF-MANAGEMENT?
Self-management is a great way to keep control over how your Home Care Package is spent. It doesn’t mean you have to go it alone but rather offers the flexibility to get help with as much or as little of the process as you choose.
That might include support to:
